Drum Tips - Practicing Drums

If you want to be better than anybody else, you must be willing to do what nobody else is willing to do.

  • Everybody is willing to practice half an hour every day.
  • A lot a folks are happy to practice an hour.
  • Quite a few players easily practice two hours a day.

It takes four to six hours a day of practice before you get into the realm where most people are not willing to go.

Time matters! However, it is not simply how many hours you practice, it's what you put into those hours, work with a good teacher to help you keep all those hours productive and moving your progress steadily forward.
